Where are we today? Way out in the Pacific.
We pulled away from Puerto Vallarta the evening of the 30th and have been sailing toward Kona/the Big Island ever since. We should pull into Kona early morning on February 6th.
The seas have been full of high swells, which have made the ship rock in new patterns. 🚢 Dave, who occasionally gets a little mal de mer in small boats, has been fine. I was so sick yesterday, but can’t tell if it was just more Covid messing with my system or seasickness or, most likely, both. At one point, I was doubting that I could ever eat or even smell food again. I have been much better today.
Dave has been playing pickleball most days. They have had to cancel a few times due to conditions. I admire that they can usually play with some rocking decks and send all the shots where they want them to go.
