Where are we today? Still in the Pacific

Today began with a clatter in the breakfast buffet as our ship rocked so far over that stacks of dishes slid off the counter.  Even some of the servers were feeling the effects of the fierce sea, and a few were unable to work. Several passengers are wearing patches with seasickness meds in them. Despite the shaking and rolling, some folks did a 5 k walk on the promenade to raise money for Maui fire victims. Dave felt fine, although he did find that food didn’t seem appealing   He tried one of the patches, but found that it made him so sleepy he took it off.  It must have helped some, as he enjoyed a surf and turf meal with new friends in the dining room.  I wasn’t up to beef and lobster, so I ate Hawaiian spiced chicken.  I have been up and down with sickness these past 72 hours.  I think the root Covid stomach, but it is definitely mixed with moments of le ...
